Did you buy the Z06? I know you have been talking about getting a C5 since Aug '05 and thought you might have pulled the trigger on a cool yellow one. I am partial to yellow.

That is a nice looking Z06. What year is the model that you bought? There was an '03 yellow local that had like high 80K miles (lots of highway miles), but in very decent shape for mid 20s. It was only about 5 miles from us, but the shifter was very harsh (but had LG headers and intake).
I am sure you will be very pleased with the C5Z.

that one you described is an 02' held by franks vettes, and he is a *****. my wife thinks worse of him than i do. this is an 03' that i picked up in alvin, has a ton of extras and 384RWHP. now i just need to pry it out of her paws.

You don't hold him in high esteem? He hasn't ever done anything to me, but then I tend to not leave people the option to do such things. I am glad to hear that you found a car that fits your needs and your wife likes as well.
Now put some real power into that thing (TC or SC???). I have done a few of these C5 mods/package installs and they can quickly get to the mid 600WHP range.
Enjoy yourr new ride.
