Default *FS: Polished 17x11 ZR1 wheels... again

I posted this previously and the deal fell through. So without further delay...

I am selling 4 Highly polished 17x11 ZR1 wheels made by AFS. These wheels have never seen a tire and they look awesome. I will send pictures upon request (or if someone wants to host the pictures, that would be awesome). Center caps already installed.

Specs: 17" x 11" (+50mm, 7.93" backspace). They are 5-lug (5x120.65mm).

They will fit the 1988 through 1996 Corvette. They will also fit the 1993 through 2003 Camaro/Firebird or Trans Am.

I am selling these in pairs for $500 obo. This does not include shipping. Thanks for the interest.

Edit (8/24/05): These wheels will only fit in the rear, not in the front. If you want a complete set, you will need to purchase 2 17x9.5 ZR1 wheels for the front (which I do not have). The 17x11 wheels with the GS offset are too big to put in front and will extend past the front fender.

No takers? Not as popular as I thought. At least is there interest or do I need to start making creative endtables?

Are these polished, or chrome plated? Will you take a reasonable offer below 500?

These wheels are highly polished. I can email you bigger pics if you want but the file size will be big for a .jpeg (originals were over 1MB). IMO, the polish job is exceptional on these wheels but I will let the buyer judge that.

I am a reasonable kind of guy and can take reasonable offers.

I'd love to buy a set of these wheels as I have the same wheels (polished AFS) 9.5 on the rear and want 11", BUT my son is getting married and funds are being diverted from my Vette Bank. It's always something. Good luck on your sale, someone will be happy with those beautys. Now if you still have them in Oct...........................

Well first, congradulations to the new daughter-in-law. Your son wont have any excuses being late with a Vette one phone call away!

Second, these wheels are not taking up much room in my garage and seeing how quickly they are going, I got a feeling they will still be in there in October . Let me know and maybe we can work something out.

If you still have them in Oct, consider them sold. But I know these guys on the forum and they know that you have a nice set of wheels that many have the match to. I can't believe you haven't sold them yet.

My son already has the Vette disease. When he comes home, it's "can I borrow the Vette?" I figure if he can fly that jet, he can drive my Vette. (gee, I'm a poet )

I see someone has been hanging around eBay.

Gentlemen, I have gotten several offers for $500 since AFS sells "polished" ZR1 wheels on eBay for about that. Please, by all means, order a set off eBay if price is your concern. Tim (the owner of AFS) is a real nice guy and makes a good product. Call them up and ask the owner or supervisor (Samantha) if the wheels look exactly like the picture. Tim even told me that they will most likely not come out like the picture.

With someone's assistance with the post, I will even show you the last set of "highly polished" wheels that I received (and sent back) from AFS. The spokes had swirl marks and the inside had not been touched by a metal polisher. To me, highly polished means all surfaces that can be seen when the wheel is installed are smooth and reflective (maybe not like a perfect mirror but better than an unfinished metal surface )

Like I said before, AFS is a good company though the pictures are misleading. The wheels I am selling are highly polished and the pictures that were posted (thanks again 65coop) are pictures of the actual wheels I am selling, not a representation of what they could look like. If you guys can get wheels exactly like these on eBay for $500, please buy them.

95_LT1: Thank you for your interest though I am not selling all four wheels for $500. Like I said before, I am reasonable but making an offer for 50%...
