Default what kind of mileage do you get?

I'm looking for a daily driver to get me to school and back. I've got a 73 that i absolutely love, but I can't afford the commute at 8mpg. What do you guys get witht eh various forms of c4? I know cross fire has its problems, we had an 84 for about 5 years and it was nothing but trouble. What kind of mileage do you tpi guys get? How about the newer fuel injection. I would be getting a manual transmission if that makes much difference. Thanks, MIke

On the highway I can get on average 23. In the city I can get 16, but usually get 13-14 cause I step on it every chance I get.

My LT4 gets on average 17.5-18 mpg. Gets really good gas on the highway. But I zip around town a lot to. I dont beat the crap outta the car, but Im not always easy on it. It could probably be 20mpg no problem.

I am getting around 18 to 20 mpg while driving around the city. On the highway I usually get around 23 to 25. Now on long highway trips driving around 75 mph, my car got up to 28 mpg. Not bad for a 300hp car.

I drove to Pittsburgh last summer and got an average highway mileage of about 27 mpg. That 6th gear made all the difference.

My stock 96CE Lt-4 gets about 14mpg in stop and go traffic around town and 28-30 on the interstate non-stop. Around town I have a heavy foot! If I drive conservatively, I can get about 17 in town. This is my daily driver too.

Default Mileage

I have a 1996 stock LT1 and get 22 on the highway and 16 in the
city traffic. Don't buy a vette it you are looking for gas mileage.

I just bought my 86' to be my daily driver. It is an auto tranny and has 79K miles on it. I have only driven it around town, but my town driving includes lots of highways. So far, I am seeing about 17MPG. The computer seems to think it will get a lot closer to 30MPG on a road trip, but I haven't tried it yet.

My '95 gets 17 or so in the city and around 27 on the highway. I have not reset the average milege calculator in over a year and it shows 21.
