 You'll miss those days......... Okay, you'll miss all the girls, anyway. Back when I graduated, the seniors got out of school and graduated a couple of weeks before everyone else. One day I was visiting some friends who were outside during lunch time. When I left I cruised thru the parking lot, stopping every so often and doing repeated burnouts. Before long the lot was filled with tire smoke from my '67 390 Fairlane. The vice principal of boys (a real d**k) came screaming out of the building telling me to come to his office. I stopped right in front of him and told him, "I already graduated, a**hole!" And then, of course, fried the tires again in his face as I left..... Ahh, sweet revenge!

I burnt out to so much it kicked the back to the right and almost hit a parked car. wheww. Then I zoomed on out of the parking lot. I think i'll miss it but am glad its over. seniors 2004 :jester

Gratz though. Now you'll just get rear ended once a month in college.
You thought parking in high school was bad? Multiply that times 20! And everyone in college drives... probably less than 1/2 of high schoolers do.
Here at Cal Poly, on a typical morning, it can easily take a half hour just to park. :(
Congrats btw... I drove my vette on graduation day for that purpose... On the way down the street, rolling about 10 mph... I punched it and lit em up! :reddevil ...and then promptly slowed down for traffic.

Oh, those were the days. My last day of HS was in May 1997. Can't say I miss it. I miss college much more! I (accidentally) peeled my tires once in my 88 Grand Am while leaving the school. My (chode) vice principal saw me and made me do "cummunity service" (detention). Hw wanted me to clean or something, but I told him I hadn't done anything wrong. We sat in his office and I stared at him for ten minutes until he had to leave. I wasn't there when he got back. Thank God a coach bailed me out. Anyway, it's still fun to go back to the old stomping grounds and see how many of the "popular" kids now work at gas stations....

4? More like 5-6. Plus bachelors will only get you a low level start job, then you need your masters, 3 more years. If you go for masters might as well also pursue doctorate on the side. 2 more years.
I'd say 23 years of education total.

If you're going to get an advanced degree you should look at how much more (if any) you'll get paid when you graduate versus where you would be with the BS degree and the experience. And don't forget to factor in the additional student loans, etc if applicable.
