Welcome.... :seeya
I remember back when the only way to get to Slidell was via a pontoon bridge...and as I think back it wouldn't have been a great trip for a Vette of any kind.
Welcome :seeya

Yes, welcome aboard.
I'm partial to black (on my 2nd), but every now and then just stare at and admire how good the white '89 looks

Welcome Bill
I know exactly what you mean... and although we didn't drive the fiberglass babe when we were younger doesn't take away how it feels to have her under our bottoms now.
I hear 93 was a very good year... and since it's your first... white is appropriate.
I hope to see you and your frau motoring one day.

Welcome to the Forum. Definitely a fun car to drive. Try not to push the throttle too hard around town. The money you spend on tickets can be better used on the Vette. My first Vette too. It's the only car that I've owned that I go out in the garage and polish and wax it when it really doesn't need any more polishing and waxing. Don't ask me about who's hitting the most home runs, or who scored the most touch-downs. I can tell you who's driving the C5-R's in the GT races though and what their stats are.

Just registered, new here, and also from Slidell! Been in Shreveport for the last few months, but hope to move back soon. Dad had a '53 project car, but he had to sell it unfinished just after I was big enough to look inside when on my toes... I've been wanting a Vette ever since. I think a L98 C4 is going to be my best bet.
