I saw them promping the air foil and I put it back on the shelf. Th8is forum had way more info more highly detailed in the tech section.

Maybe I judged too quickly?

I'd say yes. If you just bought your vette it gives you ideas for mods and upgrades. I learned three things: 1. the poly endlink bushings need a larger bolt installed. 2. Caster setting was increased in later years. 3. there is a kit that can be installed to improve radio reception.

It doesn't replace a manual. I liked his articles in Cars & Parts Corvette, saved most of them, but the book doesn't have much in the way of details in actually doing the projects, more theory and ideas. I buy just about anything written for C4's, so I don't regret it, just not as good as his articles were.

I leafed through the entire book one night at the local Barnes & Noble. About 97 of the 101 projects have been described in better detail here on the forum. There were 4 or 5 items that he covered that I hadn't been aware of. IMHO, it's not worth the $25 to a forum regular.

I got one a couple of weeks ago and love it. He debunks some of the myths out there. Even though this is my second C4 and I have been to one of Gordon's classes I still feel there is more to learn. I think I will be able to get my money back by doing just one project that keeps me away from the knuckle draggers at the local Chev dealer! :nono:
