Did Early C4s Have An Option For Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror???
I'm curious, was the motorized rearview mirror ever an option on the C4??? My best friend had an 87 IROC Camaro and it had this neat little feature...
I'm contemplating an electrochromatic rearview transplant into my 96, but if I can get my hands on one of these, I might go that route... I kinda liked the mechanical aspect of the earlier mirrors...
One thing I remember about it was that it had an optical sensor and an adjustment know that went from 0-10 to adjust sensitivity... It was a really neat setup...

Might be wrong, but I don't think that technology is old enough to have been used on early C4's.

i bought one on ebay that was represented as off a 90, did a little late reseach, and found out it was never an option. still thinkin about putting it on because it looks cool. the plug plus right in, but no little nite lites on it :D

I got one in Dodge Dakota PU and it's great, makes a world of difference driving at night. No blinding mirror!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I looked in my 93' brochure and there was no option for anything like that. The listing under Interior was Day/Night Rear View mirror with intergral map light (standard all models no option).
