its unavailable because tripod puts a bandwith limit on your sites. since i have so many pics on it, it uses a lot of bandwith and you cant view it for like a day. check back in a every once in awhile, the link will work sometime.

I called my brother today and told him to tell the guy I'm not interested. Thanks for your input guys. I pretty much dropped the idea when I saw the condition but your guys helped me confirm to run away.

Not much of a parts car when all the parts are shot!
:iagree: Man that car looks like its been through the 8 regions of hell and somehow through both, a rip in the time-space interdimensional continuum and shear azz-backwards luck......it somehow found it's way back. Kinda sad to see such a potential-possessing vehicle gone-to s***. Looks like it's also been on a deep sea journey with the discolorization of the paint and rotting fibers on what's left of the weatherstrip. That probably means the parts are all destroyed aswell.

I'd have to pass on both the rework and as a parts car. JMHO

My God... how do you rape a car that badly????????? My IROC was a heap when I got it, but at least it was relatively solid. Fortunately, camaro parts are also plentiful and cheap, so it was a good opportunity for me to make it how I wanted it cheaply. That car is going to be a money pit of epic proportions, and I realistically don't see you making it nice for less than what a nice one costs in the first place.

Well, before I saw the pics, I thought any C4 had to be worth $1500.

This one is not. I can see months of grief here, and usually what you can see is only a third of it.

Walk away.

wow that sounds like a head ache. but anyways i was bored at work and was clink on a few forum links to past the time. I was brosing through corvette hound link. there was an 84 project car there for 3500. the body looked in good shape, but the ad said it leak just about everything. but it's a better start than the one you are looking at i think.

OK I agree its not a fixer upper, not worth it by any means, and this coming from a guy who has fixed several salvaged cars, my old vette included.

I still think it might be a parts car though. And I'd haggle on the price down to say $1000-1200.

Lets see:
Head light assems. - 150 ea.
wheels - $300
TPI - $200
Heads - $200 (maybe)
Dig. Cluster - 200(working) or 75(not working)
Trans - $300(worse case)
rear - 100?(worse case)

I think I come up with a possible $1600 and if you really wanted you could take that apart in a day, trans is the hardest part. And you have made your money back in a day worth of work, just sell the parts on ebay (or wherever else you know). If you could get it for even $1200 you just made $400 in a day more or less, and you still have parts left over to either sell or haul to a junk yard, which most will give atleast $50 for a car. Anyway something to think about, like I said you could do that in a weekend, make a few bucks and move on.

So sad :nonod: It is unbelievable that at one point in time that car was a nice shiny brand new car that someone was excited to get and made payments fo 5 years. :(

Holy !!!!!

I sold my 85 with 198k for 4500. It ran perfect and had new paint, it did need seats.

Keep looking.
