What's the best daily driver to complement your Corvette?
My Ford Explorer Sport Trac is at 94,000 so I'm thinking about trading it in. I kind of like having a truck to go with my Vette. I generally limit my considerations to American-owned carmakers. Which of these do you prefer? And, my other car needs to seat 5.

Best compliment to your present Corvette would be a C2, a C3, and a C5 (you did say you needed seating for five, right?)

My Pontiac Bonneville is perfect to compliment my Vette...
Because it the bottom of the barrel for insurance rates, usually owned by the 65 plus crowd, one in a thousand gets stolen.

94,000? the car is barely broken in, you shouldn't need a new truck until at least 300,000.

Of course it depends on where you live, but for my area my 1st choice would be another Corvette.
However, since $$ are a consideration these days I have to stick with my IROC-Z which is also a fun car for a daily driver.

Yea, you're right. But I am starting to think about it. I bought it April 2001 so as you can see I put about 40,000/year on my daily drivers. I can probably drive it another couple years. But, if I come across a nice used Hummer or Lightning I may jump on it. I'd like to find one of those about 4 years old with 30,000 miles or so.

By no means the best, I recently acquired a stodgy looking '88 Toyota, which is perefect because it makes me appreciate my vette all the more when I turn the ignition key!
