but I'm enjoying the '02 and saving the GS for my granddaughter!!!
Drive it, enjoy it, maintain it and pass it on. You will both be happier. At least that is my plan, I just haven’t told my son yet....................:D

117,000 on the '95 and only 39,000 on the '93, but the '93 only goes 1/4 mile at a time:D

but it would probably mean more to her if she heard all the stories about you enjoying your GS instead of one story of it sitting in your garage.

I got my 93 eighteen months ago with 70,000 miles on her....it has 97,400 now... :steering: :auto: :D
The most fun miles are the 28 I've done 1/4 mile at a time... :yesnod:

I guess I am....I hadn't planned on ever selling my car, but then marriage plans happened. I rarely drive my car, once every week and a half or so. :bb

Not me. As soon as I begin saving $$$ for my next Vette, I'm gonna start piling the miles on my current one.

I am saving my miles for the next guy. In 4 1/2 years I've put 7,000 miles on my Polo Hardtop Sport Seat Automatic Convertible. Not enough to justify owning this sweet car. It now has 45k. If the next guy is reading this, I'm ready to sell.

Re: Who is saving there miles for someone else? (blk90rdstr)
I've had mine a month, I drove it 900 miles the first two weeks. Then it started to rain.
The first owner saved the miles for me. 22000 in 6 years.
The second owner REALLY saved the miles for me 900 in 14 months.
I'm the last owner. I keep the trip o-meter on, so I cant see the mileage get higher. God willing I'll have it till the day I die. With 1 million miles on the OD.

I only put quality miles on my baby...lots of smiles :D :D , but no sense in racking up miles on long pointless trips
Mainly, since I never plan on selling my vette, miles are only saved for future fun :D

After sitting though 5 months of winter storage, I've put 4000+ miles on my 89. I would like to thank the former owner for saving the miles for me!! :jester

I have had it for 3 - 4 weeks now, and I have had the good fortune to put about 1400 miles on it :steering: I LOVE to get behind the Wheel and :auto:
The thing that sucks, is it has been raining about 2 outta 3 days here, So the chances are few & far inbetween
You know how it goes, NO SUN :nono: NO VETTE
SOOOooooo LETS SEE SOME SUN - I AM READY

F that. The original owner did enough saving the miles for me. I bough it in decembr of 00 and the car had 14,4xx miles on it. He took delivery of it in october of 89. So that works out to 1,400 a year or just over 100 per month.
Sad :cry very sad for a car to sit.
To add, I've put 23,000 miles on the car since I've owned it, and it has sat since Halloween. This summer is going to be awesome!!!!

The 3 previous owners of my 93 Coupe managed to put 55,000 miles on it in 6 years. I have owned it for just over 4 years and the odometer now reads 148,540! I average 400 miles per week. Another couple of weeks, I will be rolling into the 150,000's. Another milestone! :auto: Hey, the Corvette was meant to be driven. I respect the guys out there that can keep their Vette in a garage (I will be joining that group in 2 more months, will finally have a garage to put my baby in!). As for driving another car around while the Vette sits in the garage...the only way that will happen is if I decide to get wild and crazy with mine! :steering:

Miles does not equal smiles when you have to drive the road I take to work everyday. I save my miles for the weekend fun. No sense in destroying the suspension, tires and paint to go thru 10 miles of pot holes and construction everyday when I have a very enjoyable truck that was built and bought just for this purpose.
