They are made in Korea! What about mike corvettes rims? They are made in the USA! Has any one got a set of these? 3yr warranty on the chrome! :flag

My problem was four bad tires. AFS took care of everything and the second set they shipped me are fine.
What problem did you have with the tires?

You'll have to scroll down a bit for my entries. And there are several pictures.
The basic story is the wheel/tire combo sent to me by AFS had a horrendous amount of weighting on each of the wheel. They had a fairly bad vibration.
A trip to my local shop to have them rebalanced revealed that all four tires came up "Recommend Tire Replacement" by the Hunter GSP9700 machine. The wheels checked out fine.
AFS responded quite well and I now have a wheel/tire set that rolls down the road as it should.

Since we're swapping AFS stories....I received a complete wheel/tire package from them in the fall of 2001. One wheel had a flaw that prevented it from holding air. They took care of it pronto and I was completely satisfied. They do a great job of taking care of the customer, but it seems they need better QC somewhere in the process.

Scorp, did you by chance order two 9.5 and two 11....that's what I did and maybe that is why they are in two different large boxes. Whaddaya say?

True to their word, UPS came today to pick up the wheels.
So far so good. After a lengthy trip back to Calif. they're going to send another four, this time packaged two per box because I requested it. Even 'Brown' couldn't believe they way the sent them originally. According to him, they really don't care because UPS will pay for the first set and I'm paying for the second set. Bottom line to AFS - they sold two sets of wheels.
Still wish the centercaps were better quality, but the wheels look great :D

Got my chrome ZR-1 replicas from corvette mike middle of winter, still sitting in bedroom waiting on tires from tire rack. The wheels look good i think but like other comments the centercaps leave lot to be desired plastic with stick on emblems which were not even centered, at least they were consistent. I may e-mail them yet about that. :rolleyes:
