Default New to me Grand Sport

I stumbled across a ‘96 grand sport not far from me that was for sale, and brought her home this weekend. Such a cool car and has been on my bucket list for years. I am the fourth owner and previous owners passed along several goodies that the original owner kept with the car. Excited to have this in our toybox!

Congratulations, Michael! Man, that is an awesome looking car! I have always loved the Grand Sports. I have the yellow version (yes, I know it's *not* a GS!) but the GSs are so striking. Looks like yours has Z51... very cool. How many miles? Looks like you have some other special Vettes - hopefully the GS gets a space inside, too

Enjoy!

She’s got 6oishk miles, but you wouldn’t know by how she looks and drives.

I need to shuffle some toys around and then yes, the C4 grand sport will go in the big garage with my other toys. For now she’s in my wife’s garage with her c6 grand sport and Escalade. She’ll be going in here soon…

Congratulations on your new grand Sport, the car is absolutely stunning!! It was nice to see that the previous owner gave you all of the documentation with the car. Looking at your incredible collection, I would say that car found a great home and I know you will love the car!

Beautiful car! A GS is on my list as well. The items you got with the car are usually lost amongst owners. What a great find. Congrats on the new toy. Some toy box you have for sure.

I’ve always loved the GS as well. I recall seeing a new GS on the showroom floor back in 95/6 and though at that time it was out of my range of affordability I knew I’d have one someday. Fast forward to 2012 and I found an absolutely mint (#855) red gut Z51 coupe. 21k miles and showed as new. Not fast by todays standards but one from a smile standpoint probably the car I’ve enjoyed owning most out of all the cars I’ve owned.

with regret I sold it in 2018 to make room for another car and while that car was amazing I missed having the GS and recently found another red gut Z51 car. This car isn’t what the other car was but it is an extremely nice driver and I’m taking the steps to get it as close to what 855 was as I can

Enjoy your GS!! Well cared for C4s are a lot of fun

Go to the Grand Sport Registry and re register your car. The reason I'm saying to re register it is because I have little doubt that it has all ready been registered. You will need to memorize the last four numbers of the Serial Number in case you run into another GS owner. The first thing we ask is " Which one do You have " Oh and yes 0693 is mine.

Looks like its in fantastic condition. The 96 GS is a striking car. A fitting end to the C4 run. Congrats on the find!
