Default Cross-brace in Corvette Mall...

I saw the ad for the Cross-brace that everyone has been asking for, for coupes, in the forum mall. Has anyone tried this yet? I would like to know if it helped with the flexing after removing the top.
I know about the bolt in replacement for the top, but don't like the idea of it cluttering up my view of the sky. I'm hoping the cross-brace works well. Anyone tried it yet?

Tried it, loved it so much, I bought the Camber Brace.
It will stiffen up the car by about 80%. It's most noticable when the top is off but even with it on, you'll notice less cowl shake than before. It's a quality product that really does make a noticable difference! :yesnod:

Thanks Shawn,
That's what I was hoping to hear. I've been waiting for this for a long time. I love taking the top out, but have always hated the flex. I'm going to really check into this now. Thanks again.

Got the cross brace.
Big difference. Kinda reminds me of a strut tower brace on my Firebird.

Every C4 I buy will have one. :D

The Cross-Brace goes under the car (an X brace). Are you talking about the Cross-bar or Camber-brace (acts like a strut tower brace)?

:withstupid: What he said.... the Cross Bar (goes inside the car)is what you are reffering to I believe. The Camber Brace goes between the A-Arm mounts under the hood and the Cross-Frame goes under the car. I have the Cross Bar and Camber Brace and love them both!

Thanks for the reply guys. I was refering to the brace that goes under the car, as in what is used in the convertible. But after seeing the posts mentioning the other braces, I plan on checking into these as well. Thanks for the info Shawn.
