UAW door sticker....
Hey guys.......Educate me on this. The UAW door sticker, did all C4s leave the factory with one of these??
I noticed last night, in 8 years of owning my 1991 ZR-1, my car doesn't have one......why wouldn't not have one?

I noticed one of these in a picture the other day in a door trim topic thread. I didn't have one on my 35th. It looks like your photo shows a later C4 body style, which mine was not.

This looks like a "handout sticker" that legalized extortionists carry around. Could have been placed by one of these people during their shift. Nowadays, companies have had to appease these unions and allow them to fly their colors. My DD Escape has one in the corner of the windshield.

I don’t believe that the factory put these on our cars

thanks for the replies. Confusing to say the least.....I'm going down to the museum and doing the factory tour in December. I will ask around to see if anyone knows for sure. Maybe it was an added thing on 93-96 cars?

the union is trying to kick GM (and their profits) in the face while they are still able to
they know they are going to lose their jobs just the same whether the strike happened or didnt.

unions have a right to be angry - Its not about higher wages, its about job reductions the big 3 have planned due to their transition to EV’s

And yes, my '92 has one and I had never paid any attention to it.

You're kidding, right? The question was about stickers. YOU brought up the term "legalized extortionists" and "appease these unions". You could have said "the stickers may have been put on by union members" without muddying the waters. Does not matter whether any of us are pro-union, anti-union, or indifferent - the stickers are there.
And yes, my '92 has one and I had never paid any attention to it.

Don't go there Hoss. I speak the truth and make no apologies for it. Name me one other situation where you can threaten to do something(not work) if you don't get your way and it is not called extorsion. Same with the stickers. In my case, do you think Ford said in the boardroom "Let's put a sticker on all the windshields to let everyone know what a great job the union does"? If the truth hurts you and your "brothers/sisters", then that is a "you" issue. If you want to continue this, open a thread in off topic(send me a PM when you have done so) and I will debate you all day. Not here.

Not worth my time. My point is the question itself could have been answered without bringing the politics into it, simply by saying it was probably done by union members with the company's agreement..
(Actually I believe you and I are on the same side in the issue, this just isn't the right forum for that part of the discussion)

If you 'gots it' - you've GOT IT
If you 'wants it' - you can BUY IT
A quick glance answers the 'is it there' !
@swampoodle-pat an NCRS fellow didn't speak to the issue! Only commented that his '95 has it. Odd sorta for an NCRS guy to avoid a question that might easily be known/sorted.
