Need a dash cover
Can anyone give me a dash cover manufacturer for my 87 Corvette? No luck searching the internet so far... just seems like no one makes a cover for my Vette. There are two large speakers on either side of the dash and nobody even comes close to having a cover That will fit, Arrrg!

If you are looking for a rigid dash cover DashSkin shows a molded ABS dash cover for 84-89 that has two speaker holes.

Thanks but I'm seeking a soft topper, suede or some sort of heavy fabric. You're right though, they are the only ones I've seen that have anything that matches my dash configuration with the two large speakers on either side. Thanks again.

I wonder if the one from Corvette Central would allow the speakers to be audible throuigh the cloth?

Thanks for the tip. I am going call them on Monday. Really wanted grey but can live with black. As far as the speakers I don't have Bose, wish I did but they do function. The Arizona sun is brutal for most of the year and I will pick up a set of the reflective sun shades to deploy when parked for extended periods. Read somewhere that some toppers don't impede sound as much as others... just another question for Corvette Central. thanks again to one and all.

Whaat???
I just called Corvette Central and you will not believe this...
I ordered the Dash Mat at $58.95, it does not have a thick backing so purportedly sounds comes right through. So far so good. When I gave him credit card and asked for the total he quoted me $120!
Now you can roll this thing up and put it in bubble pack envelope and ship it for about $5 but he said it comes in too large of a container for regular shipping. I told him I am not buying the rigid dash top just a piece of carpet but they would not budge. I am not convinced this guy knew what he was talking about as I have ordered 3 different cloth/suede dash toppers in the last couple of years and they all came for about $5 in freight as I described above.
If that is how these folks do business they will be doing without mine. Very frustrating.

Tried that too and came up with the same price. I called dash Topper direct and a customer service agent talked me through their website and I found a plain old dark grey topper for my 87 for $68. they are located in Tempe which is just 75 miles down the mountain so hopefully I will get it soon and will report back then. Thanks again folks.

I learned all about those from my pal in Mesa, funny. In for pics as I need one for my C4 too. Usually I go to Covercraft.

Got it...
My dash cover came today, it took a week as they build them to order. It fits like the proverbial glove and IMHO looks great. Here are a couple of Pics:
The cloth is acoustically "invisible" and purportedly will not interfere with the dash speakers beneath. Sounds good to me {sorry for the bad pun}. Now here is where this tale gets real...
Corvette Central wanted $60+ in freight for their cover which is virtually identical to mine {which Dashtopper sent Fed Ex for free}. Here is a pic of the box my cover came in. It weighed .85 of a pound {less than 14 ounces} including the freaking box!
