Default 1990 ZR1 help

My car will not turn over to start. The battery is at 12.67v.
Nothing happens when I turn the key.
The battery connections look good.

How many miles on the car? Do you have a second ignition key to try in case there's a VATS issue? Any recent work done to the car? When was the battery last changed?

Read this writeup by the ZR1 genius Marc Haibeck. Pay close attention to the last paragraph at the bottom of the document.

If you need help I'm in El Dorado Hills nearby. I don't have a ZR1, I have an '89 Z51 coupe, but I have an extra pair of hands if that helps. PM me if you need them.

This is the "dreaded no start problem", a well known issue, and there are numerous threads on this forum and the ZR-1 Forum on how to deal with this. It is usually either a clutch safety switch issue or stater solenoid issue so do a search on here or Google and you will understand this and how to fix it. If you are lucky and this happened after a drive and then you stopped and then the car was dead and wouldn't start, after it cools off (which could take maybe a half hour) it may start again as it may be a heat issue with the starter.
