Cool. Made me look at mine. I have the 15 year badge, but came up on 20 years on 7/7!!! Time flies. I met a lot of great people from this forum back in the day. Made a lot of lasting friendships. Most of those guys don't have their vettes anymore, but I'll die with mine! LOL.

My reflection on 20 yrs.
One of the coolest differences Ive seen (today) is the new (C8) corvette owners sure seem to like the C4 more than the then-new C5 owners ever did (in 2001). I get so many more waves from new corvettes than I ever did from the C5 crowd during that early 2000's era (when it was new). Ive even seen them wave to each other (when I was driving another vehicle), so its not like they didnt wave back - Just not to C4's.
I wonder if the new corvettes (c8) dont wave to the c7's, or if the c5 owners (in 2001) thought their easier-to-get-in-and-out-of, golf-bag toting C5 was so superior that they didnt want to associate with the C4 crowd. I imagine some had C4's and got frustrated with the maintenance...and hated C4 because they didnt know how to fix it / reliant upon the stealership once its warranty ran out.
(Sidenote: Im not talking about today's C5 owners, but rather the C5 owners of the 2001-early 00's era, basically until the C6 came out)

That badge either says we're:
1) Dedicated long time members
or
2) We're getting old
I think I like #1 better.

Congrats on 20 years. It really doesn’t seem that long ago but in some ways it does.
