I have two friends in the process of building one on the Fiero base. They think they are going to get big money for it when it's done. I have my doubts about it

But I don't think you'll be passing it off as a lambo. :)

The scale of that car is very weird. on one of the pictures it looks like it's 1:3 scale or something. looks very tiny

its an L98 and doesnt really look like a diable eother. The rear quarters are all messed up and the front is off. They did a nice job putting a decent interior in it though.

Hey now I'm going to buld a Fiero one soon. :steering:
Im buying an '85 next month as a project car for me and my oldest son. Id like to do some serious suspension upgrades so it could stay somewhat close to the vette in the mountain twistie turnies. Its got the 2.8 V6 (with that horrible firing order) and Im checking into the kits to drop a camaro V6 into it. Although Ive seen enuff of the L98's stuffed into them to maybe even consider that.....

Is this called hijacking a thread? :blueangel:

I'm looking at one of the kits that you don't have to cut the frame. I found a nice lambo kit cheap on kitcar.com. I'm putting a Donovon aluminum 350/400 block in the back and going to shoot for 600hp with nitrous. I think it would be a neat thing to see at the drag strip. I already have the block and a few other things now I just need the car.

The problems with this one on ebay
Your right, not an LT-1 and second that tranny is only a 4 speed manual and it feels like a slush box.

I have seen a Fiero with an LT1 in it here in Houston. My guess is that thing should scoot pretty good. It was transverse mounted in the stock engine location.

Another BS flag is that that thing IS built on a fiero chassis and interrior.
You can notice the similarities, and also hwo the description says it came with an original V6 motor (aka Fiero).

Also that engine might even be a plain 305TPI. Loosk like an f-body or even sub f-body TPI engine going by the valve covers..

Tsk tsk..

Speaking of the devil...

I just saw a Diablo drive past me today as I was walking into the Autoparts store. Ordinarily when I see a nice car I try not to drop my jaw like a fool and feed the driver's ego... but it's not everyday you witness one of those driving by... so I stared and stared and stared till it was gone. The kid behind the counter in the store was drooling too. (Hey, it's a quaint town.. although I have seen a few Vipers, a Testarossa, and a Murcielago!)

It must suck to pay 200g's for one of these and have some guy in a Fiero playing poser. It pollutes the cars image. I really feel for the Shelby Cobra owners. Apparently Caroll Shelby lost a court settlement where he tried to secure the rights on the car's appearance, and fend off the kit car companies.

I don't see the reasoning...or maybe I do. I suppose the girls that'll be shallow enough to like you for your car will be stupid enough to not realize it's a fake. What an unfortunate way to live.. pretending you're something you're not. Now, a custom kit made from scratch, something completely original, that would be cool!.. and not too hard to do, if you have 25,000 laying around.
