Default Does this sticker indicate a Z51 on an '84?

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if any of these numbers translate to Z51? I think I see a faded A51 on the left side.

Anything else significant indicated?

Thanks,

BAD-L88

Nope - red, tan 3.07 and manual! I wouldn't think significant but 'YF5 - California'

Might be interesting to post the VIN. Is there also maybe a metal 'trim tag' near the right side hood latch?

Too bad.

Ad says 10,500 miles, 1 owner. It's in Germany of all places. It looks very nice.

I don't want to violate rules here by posting a link. It's on the largest German car sales site.

It shows L83 Crossfire for engine. Makes it an 1984.

I always throught it would be great to find an unmolested '84 with a manual and the Z51. I guess I will keep looking.

I remember they toned down the Z51 after the first year because it would shake your teeth loose on the slightest bumps.

Just finding a manual 84 is hard enough. There were only around 7000 or so built.

If it was a Z51, that would be posted right after YF5 on the label. According to my info, there were 6,443 stick shift (4+3) trans. cars built in '84 (code MM4).

Z51 4+3 triple bronze
This is my sticker it is a 4 spreed Z51 car. It was two tone bronze but now it’s deep red.

So it meets two of the criteria but it’s definitely not unmolested

Greg, your 84 and my 84 are similar in color but yours has quite a few more options than mine does! Based on the vin it appears that yours was built later than mine as well. I wonder if it was a custom ordered car by a customer.
