I saw this entry in the NCM virtual car show. I like this underhood checkered flag decal.

I see lots of checkered flag decals online, but I wonder if they will hold up to the heat under hood?

This entry is from Jeff Knowlton with 1991 ZR-1 #315. Maybe Jeff is on here? Or does anyone else have some insight into where to find such a decal?

A lot of the c6/c7 guys have done this, but most I've seen are painted (airbrushed), then cleared. That said, there are high heat decals that hold up well. I had shop in FL (can't remember their name, ordered online 5+ yrs ago) create a few custom pieces for me on my 13 1LE Camaro, which I tracked. No heat issues at all with those decals after repeated track weekends. Try Fastdecals.com. I believe I've ordered a few items from them as well years ago. They have a high temp option for custom ordered decals
