Default No brake booster available for 1996

Anyone have a source for a brake booster for a 92-96?

I have tried Rockauto, Oreiley, Autozone, Advance, Napa and Scoggin Dickey. They all show it available, but try to order it and "nope" order cancelled.

I know there are a few Corvette specialty places that also show some available, but I'm not paying 400$ for one. Going ebay junk yard before that happens.

Be careful if you do find a reman unit, there was a thread on here not so long ago about multiple defective plastic boosters from A1 Cardone (IIRC).

Yea, saw that. The shitty part is I think all of the part store remans are the same A1, Cardone, and AC Delco parts that I cannot find.

Would this be the one you need? Found on Amazon:

Might be too steep for your budget, but at least it's not a boneyard part. Have you considered a local swap meet or is this your daily?

I'm not sure if the earlier metal ones are compatible. It may bolt right in, and if that's the case, I'll use it, but cannot find confirmation it will work correctly.

Ordered a brake booster for a 91 model, part number 14PB4073. Guess we'll see what happens!
