Default 88 convertible price

A friend has a blue 88 w/ 8554 mi. Original owner garage kept. What would be the top price you'd pay?

When I was looking for a nice '89 I saw one with 23k miles with asking of $14k.

I think that 8k miles on a very clean '88 would bring well over that.

There's a very nice triple black automatic '89 in Iowa now with 10,500 miles asking $13,500.

A lot of very low mile cars seem to be listed anywhere from that range all the way up about $20K, but those are asking prices. Having just looked and bought, i'd say an arms-length deal would be at least in the $14K range, buying from a friend a little less.

Depends upon how it runs and whether tires and rubber has been updated.

The only special edition that Corvette DNA shows with a higher value for an 88 is the 35th.

I combined two threads, had just been looking at another thread asking about a 96 collector edition. Sorry about that.

Could be more problems than a well maintained one with 70,000 miles ....
