Default Need advise

Hi Fellow Vette Lovers
I have a 1989 vert
only 93,000 miles
the anti lock brake lite on
all check ok fluid brakes work fine
any advise

My advice is get the codes out of it.
You probably have a bad wheel speed sensor.
Also, don't try to jump the snake river canyon again ...

I would first pull each sensor and clean it off. Its a magnetic sensor and it picks up allot of metal fibers from the semi-metallic brake wear. That in turn collects dirt and grease. That in turn makes the magnetism of the sensor weaker and its not sensing the ABS wheels speed gear on the hub. SO try that first, then pull the negative battery cable to reset the computer

Also, be gentile with the wires and expect the rubber covers to be brittle and break. I used split loom to protect the wires where the rubber was gone.
