Kbb.com is as good as any shot in the dark, but not necessarily accurate.

I'd look at the "SOLD" prices to get an idea. eBay can show you "Sold Listings" which gives you an idea of what you should pay for it.

In general...
$2000 or less: Doesn't run, needs lots of work, never to be anything better than drover quality.
$2000-5000: Runs, but needs lots of work. May have paint issues that are major. Has several features that don't work.
$5000-7500: Driver quality. Has imperfections, but overall looks decent. Does show wear and tear from age.
$7500-10000: Clean car, very little wear. Not perfect, but close.
$10000+: Super clean cars. Basically perfect or low miles. All your "special" cars fall in here like Grand Sports, ZR-1s, things like that.
Conertibles and manual transmissions will alter the prices up, as well the minor special editions like the collectors or anniversary cars.

I totally disagree. Craigslist cars are 99.5% either scams, or crap. Sometimes both. They almost all have undescribed damage and the pictures are always way better than the car actually is. Sold cars on ebay is more accurate, craigslist is very misleading.

Not big on what you are asking for the item. Ask what want but I think it is a meaningful to know what you sold it for.

I don't know if you can trust eBay prices either. Yes, the car might have sold but how many do you see re-listed because of a bidder not completing the transaction?

IDK. What do you suggest? Not much else you can do besides track each and every sale to it's conclusion. Truth be said, I haven't seen too many relisted items after the first buyer didn't go through with the sale, FWIW

To me I always look at these forums for any car I have interest for in the F/S section.
I always look what dealers ask knowing up to 2k can be knocked off sometimes for a usually unwanted c4.
FAUEE nailed it down for you.
If you get a really nice example with low miles, good option package, and good condition for less than 10k you did alright.
Truthfully though the scale of a c4 is up to 10k.
zr1, or GS 20k+
maybe 25+ Callaway.

I paid $9.5k (asking price) for a almost mint condition 92 coupe auto with 52,000 miles. Now mint doesn't mean stuff won't go wrong. I ended up sinking another - $800 within 6 months time. Interior is 'as new'. Paint is as good as a 25 year old 50,000 mile Vette can be. Vehicle listed out new around $38k (loaded vehicle). Everything works !!!! (rear hatch gas cambers to be replaced next spring).

. Add $10,000 to each of your categories, as an asking price; selling around 80%+ of aaking, depending, except for this time of year. And, of course, averages/statistics NEVER apply to the individual (car).
