Actually, I saw one up close :yesnod: I thought that the guy was just some kind of Body work specialist :( I did not know this was a Kit :confused: I would never purchase it, however it did look good. It seems to ruin the natural progression of the CORVETTE evolution, sort of a freak of nature :lol:

I've seen them at Carlisle and this past weekend in OC,MD. As stated above, be happy with your C4 or buy a C5. It makes you look like a wannabe. :chevy

Geeze folks I never said I wanted to put it on my car!
I was just inquiring as to if any has seen them up close.
I have a feeling they are very cheap looking and the Fiberglass work that goes into the installation must be crazy.
I was actually looking at C4 kits there when I had seen the C4 to C5 conversion and thought I would get some opinions.
Relax folks I love my C4!

Why? What's the point? I think that one of their "selling points" kind of sums it up. "Be the envy of you friends and neighbors". Are we so competitive that we want our friends and neighbors to envy us? I can understand if you buy a kit car of a of a rare car because they're not available, but to take your C-4 and make it into a mock C-5 is BS. It reminds me of the guy who has a roll of one dollar bills, and keeps a fifty dollar bill on the outside of the roll, to impress people. Phony!!!! Plain PHONY!!!!! IMHO

I saw the one as well at Ocean City this weekend. It was horrible looking. Not only was it a C-5 kit, but he put ZO6 wheels and emblems on it. Seems like such a waste of money to me to be laughed at by most!
