i have fairly new carpet in my 84 , but it's already starting to fade, I've tried to keep the sun out
there is nothing wrong with other than some fading
Any suggestions , tint, die etc

I have owned a couple of C4 verts and I used a product I use on my boat to protect the carpets. Here is the link, it works very well, might not help that much after the fading has already happened, but it will protect if from happening in the future.

You didn't mention the color of your carpet. That will be a factor. I have a '86 Coupe with Saddle carpet. I purchased a spray can of carpet dye from Mid America that worked fairly well in bringing the original color back.

Carpet is very easy to dye then tint the windows to keep it from fading.

Be very careful in color selection on paint or dye if you go that route. My floor mats got dark in a hurry when I painted them.
