New guy with a new (old) C4
I've been lurking on this site since earlier this year, when i started looking into buying a Corvette and thought I would join the group. A little over a month ago I picked up a 92 in Quasar blue off the original owner. It had a little more mileage then I wanted (150k), but it needed no work while many of the lower mileage ones in my area were either out of my price range, needed work, or both. This one was always serviced by the dealer and came with all service records since new. It also has almost new tires and shocks.
I decided the mileage didn't bother me since it runs and drives like new. It doesn't seem to have been abused, the records show it's only on the 4th set of tires since new. It's not anywhere near perfect, but it's unmodified and was garaged its whole life. Personally, I think it looks awesome for being 25 years old with the original paint, wheels and interior.
I've attached some pictures of her.

Beautiful car, looks taken care of. Do not worry soo much about the mileage, sometimes cars with lots of miles that have been maintained will give you less troubles than a car with low miles and the owner thinking everything will last forever sitting around. Then they go for a Sunday cruise to show off their low mileage ride and it breaks and they do not understand why," it only has 4,000 miles on it ". lol.
Anyways, mine had 130,000 on the clock, well maintained. Besides some maintenance and a couple cosmetic items, she has been trouble free for over a year and 11,000 miles. Not saying that it will last forever, but the fact no problems yet, I am happy with my high mileage ride.

That is a very nice car and a beautiful color. And I agree, don't worry about the mileage. All maintenance records were included so drive with confidence. My first Vette was a 1995 with 105,000 miles and it ran great, no noises, no problems. Drove that car across California several times without a care in the world. Enjoy.
