Default Where are the good car seat covers at..?

I know I'm late to the C4 game. Things are getting harder to find. I keep seeing this:

It looks like an apron! This car don't cook nor clean (gawd sounds like my ex gf haha)

I literally right now found these:

http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...1994-1996.html

which is what I had seen a long time ago and couldn't find. Anyone know a less expensive vendor? Tried fleabay w/ no luck

Last thing, I hear sear covers can cause damage long term. Is this all or the you get what you pay for thing?

I've got these and they fit really well. They can be had with or without logos

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but check out Iggee seat covers on eBay. I have them on both my seats and they're a snug fit. I believe around $180 for the pair. They're synthetic leather but they hold up well.

I like the look and fit of these thanks. I'm gonna try to find more pics w/ solid gray.

I guess I'm gonna have to spend $150+ for good fitting covers! Whatever my baby needs

Too advanced for most of the old guys around here I have purchased a set of replacement leathers as have many of us based on Antfarmer2's suggestion and persistent references to his "leather seat cover post" whenever anything resembling an inquiry for seats hits the C4 section (I hope he is okay). These are not to OE quality, but a good value for the price in my humble.

Here is a link to the ebay seller:
http://www.ebay.com/usr/customupholstery11

Do some good research, some of the seat leathers are glued to the foam and are not easily replaceable, and these must be hog ringed for install after removal of the old covers. Good luck, be safe and go fast !!

Even though I'm looking for like protection seat covers not replacements, thanks for the link. The replacement covers do look good and they are $500 less than similar ones I've seen! Bookmarked the seller's pg

Was wondering if anyone could tell me.. are the $150-200 protection seat covers (not replacements) that much better than the $20-40 ones?

Is it a case of you get what you pay for in protection or would one be paying more for better fit and Corvette logos?

The neoprene ones I posted above from corvette mods are really nice. They are two pieces and fit over the seat, and are form fitting. The ones without logos are $200, and the ones with logos are $30 more. I have them covering standard cloth seats and they are excellent.

I'm happy with my iggees. I use mine as a daily driver and they have yet to show any real wear in 2 years. I do "plan" on upgrading to actual replacement seat covers next year, but these have served a purpose and have looked good doing it.

So far the Iggees are the best fitting ones I've seen that also don't look like $30 Autozone bargain brands.

They look like they fit better than Wet Okoles I read about on another forum and those are like $290+ shipping!

So thanks, might end up w/ the Iggees

I bookmarked that seller bc the product looks good, value seems great. Comparable ones I saw are like $500-600. BUT I need regular covers.. not replacements covers lol

Hi guys I don't believe in seat covers to protect. It is like not having sex with your girlfriend saving her for the next guy. The covers can do more damage than good. plus for a few more dollars you can redo them.

Ok, it might have been you who I asked about seat cover damage. This is damage from the cover baking onto the seat under high heat or direct sunlight or other stuff too?

I'm probably not gonna bother w/ covers right now. Haven't found anything I really like at the prices I'm seeing (on top of the possible damage)

Appreciate your guys' suggestions though

The cost difference is usually more than a few bucks, but I think it's totally worth it. I had both of my seats redone in vinyl for $550, and they look and feel fantastic.

Well that is what you paid and glad your happy with it. But I did mine for $249.00 and real leather. Now the price has come down to $200.00. This is cheaper that some seat covers.
