what's behind floor on drivers seat area?
Can I mount a tall aluminum plate behind drivers seat to mount a amp on my 94 corvette? Is gas tank under the floor in that area and how much room between floor and tank in that area? Thanks as my car is still in storage yet.

Tank is in the back of the car. The abs pump is behind the drivers seat in the box. A good place to put a amp is behind the pass seat in the box.

if you don't know where your gas tank is you might not want to be working on your car just quite yet.

Actually, there is quite a bit of space between the wall behind the seat, and the bin that houses the ABS pump and FX3 hardware. As long as the amp doesn't negatively affect front seat adjustment travel, it should be fine.
