"PLEASE KNOW THAT THIS IS STRAIGHT FROM MY HEART"

I am sorry to say that being a former Corvette owner (Totaled mine) is really getting to me.(was my fault 100%).....
I feel like i let the "responsibly" driving owners on here down...

For that I do apoloigize to all of you....

I must move on ......so this will be my last post on here.....
I've learned alot by staying in the background & reading what
has to be the BEST posts & most accurate Corvette information residing on the Internet bar none.....
THIS community also is the GREATEST example of how Internet Forms were intended to be
.......
Please keep up the excellent work & Thank You for teaching me more about the Corvette than i ever thought possible
& about how a well organized & operated "Internet Community" should appear in a Public Domain.....
All of you should be proud of what you've accomplished with your collective wisdom & effort....

Sincerly,

Very respectable words Bill. Hope you find yourself back in another Corvette sooner rather than later and I hope to see you back on the forum! In the meantime, take care Bill and here's hoping the Corvette fever finds its way to you once again!

corvettes were made and meant to be driven, sometimes hard and sometimes a bit beyond the drivers ability. SO, buy another one, fix it like you want and enjoy the sport/hobby and the best car made. Besides, you have all these great folks in here . No reason to leave, someone might need the info you have learned along the way. Best of luck.

Sorry to hear about your car. The good news is you are OK and another C4 is just around the corner. GL

Default What Doesn't Kill Us Only Makes Us Stronger

Weather we want to admit it or not we all make mistakes.

Learning from those mistakes and being stronger for it builds character.
I'd much rather spend time in the company of a person who has the fortitude to admit mistakes and move forward than someone who hasn't.
Personally, I've poured my heart and soul into a car and thru my own actions damaged the car. It's a soul searching experience.

Don't let the weight of the situation get the best of you. Choose the best attributes you have and build your self a better car to prove you are that better person

Looking forward to hearing your target and progression towards it

Good Luck

Sorry to hear about your loss. It was a nice looking C4. I agree this is one great forum with very helpful, knowledgable members. Best of luck in your future endeavors and hope you make it back in the seat of another vette.

"Falling down is a part of life, getting back up is living."

Don't apologize to me man, things happen, it's the way of the world. So what if you made a mistake, we all do. I just sold my '96 because it had some issues that just didn't have the resources to take car of. Passed it along to another forum member who had a better plan. I miss the car tremendously, but I'm convinced I'll have another.

You don't have to leave. No one asks for your current registration to allow you access to the forum. Besides once you have a Corvette you'll think about having another one.
The main thing is you landed on your feet. Sounds like you also learned a life lesson unfortunately the hard way. The future is before you.

There's a famous quote in the racing world that goes something like this; "You never know the true limits of a car until you wreck."

There's no reason to leave. Hope you find yourself another C4!

There's absolutely no reason to think you let me down - I wish I'd have never made some of the mistakes I've made . . . . .
Sounds like a nasty crash, which perhaps (?) if dissected/evaluated might provide valuable info for other drivers - - - yes/no !
In any event, take care and get back into another stylish car of your choosing real soon,,,,,,,,

sorry to hear, Bill. No reason to leave, and certainly no reason to NOT get another corvette!

No need to leave Bill. With all the upgrades you made to your car you still have much to offer the community.

Default Point of Order

Hey, if it didn't kill ya, doesn't that count as a test drive?

Hang in there, bud.

The main thing is you're alive brother. Cars can be replaced, you can't. Don't disappear and be a stranger. Grab another Vette (not mandatory to be on the site) and hang out a while. Stay safe out there and have a Merry Christmas.
