I replaced my old worn rear speaker covers with good used ones. mine were flame red replaced them with black. have tried to find a good set in flame red but they just arent out there. found a set on ebay but they had some cracks.

here's the old red ones

here is the used black ones actually like the new look better a little contrast.

Heater Core in a 1990. Got help I needed on the Forum...Mark the harness wires you disconnect. Core was easy. Mixed up wiring harness was a nightmare..

I started cleaning the engine compartment of the 1991 I purchased in dusty Twin Falls, Idaho.
Before the first wash with soap and water.

After the first wash.

Now I need to get in and start the serious cleaning by hand.

Started about 3 weeks ago on my "Get ready for Bowling Green" project and finished it over this last weekend.
Replaced the worn out urethane strut rod bushings and realigned the strut rods to be parallel with the half-shafts. Re greased all other urethane bushings with the 'correct, this time' urethane suspension grease. That made the ride Sooo much better. Refilled the engine, ZF6 and Dana 44 with fresh AmsOil products. Checked all the wheel alignments, cleaned and shined and ready for the highway.

Going to clean up some Bosch lV's injectors that I tried but took them out, but will put back in the newer engine and get the adjustable Aeromotive pressure in from my previous engine. Still have some other issues. May put the ecm that came with my newer engine in also, both should be stock with bafl memcal's. Need to get off the computer if I am going to get anything done today!

Replaced the rear hatch weatherstripping. Dirty job, but pleased with the results.

Decided today I didn't have enough power outlets for my trip to Bowling Green next week.
Ran a dedicated line from keyed power accessory fuse panel through the windshield trim to the mirror location to power my Valentine. Ran another line through the console to just behind the lid with a removable plug like another cig lighter plug. Now when I need more power plugs, I have one I can just plug in behind the passenger seat and I still have the cig lighter plug to charge phones or camera. My Valentine and GPS (when I want it), power up and down when I turn the key. Left the Valentine turned on for a week when it was plugged into the cig lighter. Can you say DEAD BATTERY!..... Won't be doing that any more now.

Replaced the right side headlight motor bushings. Worked like a charm. But while testing the right side noticed that the left side was making a new thumping noise so replaced them as well. Much faster the 2nd time! This is not a hard repair but understand how it can intimidate some people...

Disconnected the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator. Pull on to the highway and made blue smoke through first and second.
