I am serious it is an impressive car off the showroom floor!!! There is one person that has one and as far as I'm concerned it should be a museum piece for its rarity. But this post is about all C4,s and what people currently have running down the track and around on the street. There are some people that have gone nuts and have Big blocks and back half and run outrageous times and there are guys that are still running small blocks original frames and bodies that are running quicker then 10.4. I ran TENS for years and then decided to move up a bit and now I run low nines at about 150 mph. Just want to see that there is anybody else as nutty as I am I've had my car 35 years now I'm on the 4th engine and have enjoyed it immensely!!! But when I go to the track I'm the only one there normally with a C4 Corvette. With full frame V8 standard and fairly lightweight compared to most cars I think it is one of the most ideal cars to build and I'm somewhat disappointed I don't see more of them especially since you can get one so cheap!

Doubt you are on DOT tires and in the 9s
Impressive numbers, for sure. But be real about what a got.
This car went 10.2 all day long. Not on street tires though. He tried and tried for 9.99 b but never could break the time. Broke parts and had fun though. That’s what’s worthwhile
that car belonged to @555ciC4 and was streetable. Change tires, run a low 10, trailer it home….
It was a 406 which was originally a lingenfelter engine until it broke. And then rebuilt by a shop in Maryland. It was fast!!!
Big shot of nitrous, too.

Speaking of @555ciC4 his 1990 C4 is possibly the quickest on this site.
201.8 mph in standing mile
He’s got no fear. Really good driver to hold the car together at speed
Edit: I see 555ciC4 hadn't been logged-in since 20 yers ago. @winstonc owns the gray rocketship. Used to have a website, but the URL isn't active anymore.
