As part of my "change all the fluids" campaign, I'm looking to replace the power steering fluid. I seem to recall that the GM factory fill is synthetic, any suggestions on what to use besides the GM P/N?
Thanks

Assuming this is a street car.. If you want to do the job 100% find a fluid that meets OEM specs.
If you want to do the job 99.5% get the cheapest PS fluid you can find and use it.
Remove the fitting on the rack that comes from the reservior, remove the reservior cap and let it drain out. Reconnect and fill. Drive it at least 20 miles (lots of turns and time to get the fluid hot) and repeat (the fluid is not 100% changed this way so do the job twice to get most of it changed)
