Corvette people are AWESOME!
Awesome experience today while spending time at the National Corvette Museum. My wife brought along her expensive e-reader, to help entertain our nearly 3 year old grandson with puzzles and games. Our daughter-in-law took our grandson (with the device) into the rest room facilities. When we returned to our hotel room about an hour ago, we discovered the e-reader was missing. A quick call back to the NCM museum was made, and to our surprise someone had turned it in!!
The individual that turned it in did not leave a name, I just have to assume they are at least enthusiasts, it not Corvette owners, and hopefully forum members. To that individual, THANK YOU!

Since I got my Corvette and joined a local club (Texas Corvette Assn.) I have met more nice fun people with higher morals than I ever knew existed.

I haven't joined any clubs, but have run a few autocross events put on by the Cumberland Valley Corvette Club.
The folks that put them on are very friendly and helpful...can't say enough about how comfortable they've made me feel as a noob...
There's a poster here that I consider a friend, as he approached me at the last event, even sent me pictures from the prior event.
Most Corvette peeps are good peeps...

We need more of this standard in our lives!!
We always joked that you could pin a $100 bill to the table with a knife at our hunting club and someone might borrow the knife but they would pin the Hundred back when they got done with the knife.

Honesty
There are honest people out there, unfortunately not as many as there used to be. Glad you experienced one, not seeking recognition etc for their actions. They get that from knowing they've done the right thing.
