Default Mouse in the house on C4

Took off my air filter housing, found this rodent bed on my K&N air filter, and the filter smells like ****. I think it was from the previous owner, cuz I drive this thing regularly, but who knows.

Buy one of the electronic devices that emits high pitch sound waves..This will keep them away from your car... Or buy a cat....WW

I've found mothballs work great too.
It's just really time consuming finding enough moths.

I dislike cats, but few neighbors have them, and they do keep mice away.

For mice infestation, buy poison, traps, and even the water/bucket full of water method would do.

fast forward to 1:25

This guy is an idiot, but got the mouse.

We had some hangar cats at the airport. They do keep the mouse population in check, but I had one cat that like to perch on top of the car, leaving little paw prints.

When a friend of mine parks his wife's Miata for the winter, he puts fabric softener sheets under the hood and in the interior. Seems to work.

You don't want your interior to smell like mothballs!

I agree with the scented fabric softener sheets method. Five years now and never an issue. I put 5 or 6 under the hood, two on each running board and one on top of each tire. So far so good.

I just replaced the AC/Heater blower and found a rodent nest in the plenum. The little buggers probably thought the squirelcage was a mouse spa. I also found a bunch of berry and nut shells in the spaces behind the rear speakers and under the air filter. These pesky critters seem to get in everywhere. Time to seal the garage doors.
