1992 383 lt4 vs 2011 GT500?
Who do you think would win in a drag race? The 2011 GT500 is making 540 CHP and is a 6 speed.
The C4 Is a 6 speed with a 10:2.1 compression 383 with AFR 210 heads and a port matched LT4 intake.

Drivers skill has alot to do with it from a dig yes. From a roll its pretty much which car is the overall faster car. The mustang is something like 3800 lbs vs 3200 for the c4. the mustang makes 540 CHP whereas the c4 with the lower compression 383 might make 450 CHP.

If you're going to make me guess I'd say the roll the GT500 gets you.
From the dig you got him in the C4, since big piggy probably doesn't have as many passes in that car as you likely do, and well, big piggy is a big piggy.

The Gt500 did lose most of the races, Thats one up for us C4 guys! Although I will say it was pretty close. I honestly thought the C4 would lose due to how fast those 500s are and my c4 seems slow to me being NA temporarily.
I made this post with the intent of showing the video so we can all take a little amusement in the fact that a 23 year old c4 corvette beat a big bad GT500! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

We are waiting on the video. But whether from a stop or a roll, as long as you are racing to over 100mph and on, the C4 has the advantage in a lower drag coefficient as well. Besides that, we could take a C4 and spend 1/2 the cost of a GT500 and spanks it's *** any way we want.

I am happy to hear that the C4 came out on top. I am more pleased to hear a car that cost $50K new lost to a old C4 thats been modified for no more than $15K. When I hear about any two cars being compared as to which one is the fastest the first question should be the cost of each car ? You can't brag about a $50K car smoking a $20K but you sure can the other way around.
