Reference the section:"PROBLEMS ON THE ROAD" in the owners manual.

This is a question for idiots, that is why I responded.

Look under the car to the front of the door & you will see it marked.

I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Neither response answers the OP's question, as the mentioned points are for the jack, not jackstands. If that's where you would put jackstands, where would the lifting points be?

My neighbor claims to be a former GM tech, and swears if you lift these cars from the wrong points, there's a good chance of cracking the windshield...

Any advice from the senior members would be greatly appreciated...

I place the jack on the frame rail below the mirror on one side. After jacking the car up, put jack stands one the frame rail between the arrows. Do the same with the other side. I've been doing this for over 30 years and my car hasn't bent nor has the windshield cracked. In fact, my car always sits like this when it is in the garage between races.

Anywhere along the frail rails is fine. You have to watch out for brake / fuel lines that can be damaged by the shoe on the jack stand.
When I worked at a GM dealership years ago, we always opened the the doors off the strikers to avoid a possible windshield crack. Even on the older C2 and C3 cars. I think it was bogus, if there was that much body flex the windshield would fail under normal driving on the street.

Is it just me? Or does this guy look like he is sick and tired of going over this same information? Not saying anything about the OP's valid question, just commenting on some of the guy's expressions... I was almost expecting him to roll his eyes.
