Default After over a decade I was reunited with my first Corvette

Best part was, they gave it to me free!

This thing has been sitting in the rafters of my parents garage for a very long time. Got it for Christmas when I was 3 years old and used it until I was too big to fit in it. Anyone know where I can get some mirrors for this thing? Plan is to fix it up, get it working and bring it with me to car shows.

Yeah it probably is modeled after an '88. I charged up the battery and it still works! Tried looking on ebay for mirrors for it but didn't find anything. Debating whether or not I should just fix the thing and leave it as is or convert it into a big remote controlled car and put rubber tires on it.

Be even better if you sprayed it to match the real one!

No, I am 26. Guess I should have been more specific than "over a decade" in my title. I don't remember back that far but I am told I was riding it until I was 6 or 7. So its been sitting in my parents rafters for close to two decades.

I should totally LS swap this thing, HAHA! Seriously though if I do decide to make it remote controlled it will get bigger motors and lighter, more powerful batteries.

At the moment it does match. If I have enough paint after this weekend I will make this one match the real one. Hope I do because it would be near impossible to match the custom mix I have. Wait.. this talk is for a different thread.

Thanks, I saw those earlier but since I don't know if I am going to be paining it or not I decided to wait and see if I can find red mirrors.

Paint her to match your full sized C4.

Also +1 vote on turning into a Remote Control Car. But you HAVE to give us video of it dragracing and racing other RC cars then!

Well, since it has been sitting for so long, be sure to change the oil and fluids and be sure to check the date code on the tires.
