My Daily Driver is a '93 300 ZX. I still try to wave at those guys and they look at me like I'm nuts. Just trying to acknowledge another great car. Can't wait to get my C3 on the road again so I can start waving again without feeling like an idiot! Save the Wave.

Tons of waves on our Lincoln Highway trip - everything from a late solid axle in Reno to a C7 near Carlisle.

Got the wave from a Steel Blue or Gray C7 owner on route 518 crossing over a bridge over D&R Canal in Griggstown this past Sunday. Caught by surprise. Of course I waived back!

Can't remember the last time I got a wave from a C5 or C6 owner, still haven't from the few local C7s but haven't seen them as often.

Saturday was going to a car show and I got a wave from a C7. First time I have seen a C7 wave, and he waved first.

I think "the wave" is annoying. Ok I get it we all like these cars, and I'm usually driving so recklessly taking a hand off the wheel could be dangerous (just kidding) I mean, I daily drive my C3 and my C4 and I'll usually give a thumbs up if I see another C3 or something on the road but I don't want to feel obliged.

I give the newer Vettes the "Headlight Flip" as a greeting and to make me feel good
since they both work now...Mike

The wave is alive and well in Central PA, with the exception of a few C6 caretakers. I've even "accidentally" waved at a few oncoming TransAms, my eyes must be getting bad.

In my area, C4's always wave, C5's never wave, C6's rarely wave, and I've not yet seen a C7 on the road.

What's really annoying is everyone posting about not getting a wave.....over and over and over and over.

I wave at other Vettes all the time and They look at me like i'm crazy because I'm in My GTO or wife's ford. Maybe I should quit.

I can tell you that on Long Island it's dead as disco. Maybe anther C 4 will wave. Forget the C 5 6 and 7 it's as if you climbed out from under a rock. I find my hand in the air catching bugs, no waves
