89 headed to drag strip
picked up a 89 last fall was thinking quick flip in the spring . well after driving it some this blue oval guy decided a bow tie might look good next to the mustang decided I would like to head back to the drag strip haven't ran since I sold the 70 mustang in 1991. had a bad spot in the hood so I decided to put a carb and blower scoop on . the tpi ran good but I like the look off the scoop and had most off the parts siting in the shop so I got to work and forgot to get pics until it was done . I really like the way it looks now . it dose rev faster and has good power. don't think it gained lots of power but fills a little faster. going to run it this summer and put some time in to getting the car to work good at the track and maybe put a 383 in it next spring

Should be interesting to see what she will run. What is your altitude above sea level?
Back in August of 2000 my prior bone stock '88 (240chp) ran very low 14s at Englishtown.

If you have a scoop like that, your car better be quick. You'll be challenged at every stoplight.
