Had to roll the 'vette and the TA out today...
as Overhead Door will be by tomorrow to install the new garage door. We have a Wayne Dalton brand door and between the cheap-o door and the lousy power unit it finally just needed to be replaced. Ugh. Anyhow, I got the cars rolled out and my son, Thomas, got to 'drive' them. our next-door neighbor came by with her daughter, Reese, and the two kids had a blast 'cruising' in the 'vette. Made me and the neighbor smile. Anyhow, the '85 TA is my wife's ride. It has a '96 LT1/T56 combo and the 4th Gen seats and console installed from her wrecked red TA. It's down right now as I am getting ready to install the heads and a Hot Cam kit and then it's off to the dyno.
My '88 is getting an engine transplant. It's getting a '92 L05 350 with a factory ported TPI base, runners and plenum, Speed Pro cam, Hedman Elite headers, Taylor wires, 1.5 roller-tip rockers and a few other improvements. I will not start on that until the missus' TA is done, however.
Anyway, just wanted to share my evening and the smiles.
Later,
Lee

Thanks for the kudos. This was my dad's car who was the original owner - about perfect in and out with only ~ 31k on her. He likes knowing how much the car is enjoyed. I love tooling around with the kids now that the weather's gotten a bit nicer. Later.

They're only that small once. Enjoy every minute.
