Default Tailight Louvers

Okay I am approaching the final stretch on my dress up MODs for my 1992, I am thinking of getting the taillights louvers. Has anyone installed them on their car? If so, care to share some photos. My car is white, I planned on hydro printing them in silver carbon fiber with black base coat. I would like to see them on a car before I pull the trigger ordering them.

http://www.corvettemods.com/Corvette...rs_p_5965.html This are the louvers I am thinking of getting, just picture them with carbon fiber appearance with black base coat.

thank you.

I have black ones on my white vert. I think they look awesome. I don't have any pics on this computer. I'll try to take come when I get a chance if nobody else chimes in.

I have a 95. I installed the LED tail lights. I want my tail lights to be as bright as possible for every one behind me. I would never put any thing on them to make them harder to see. No matter how cool they might look while @ home.

I've noticed that when many owners install them, they are then removed within about 3 months. I don't know if they get loose and fall out or the owner gets tired of looking at them. My opinion is they ruin the whole look of the legendary 4 Corvette tail lights at night time.

This^

I see guys that put the dart tint over their tail lights (and headlights) and never liked that look. I actually saw a C4 on the freeway the other day that had them and you could barley see his tail lights (it was night time). It looked like an old car running a 6 volt system or that his alternator had crapped out and his battery was getting drained down!

People don't pay attention anymore as it is, I don't want to make it any harder for them to see my car.

Please, no offense Newbie2Vette, but personally I put items like that in this category: (of course, who am I to talk...see my stripes?)

My Mother put some of those eyelash things on her Honda Prelude.

Thank you for the photo. That would have been a waste of $$ and time to put them on. I'm the kind of person, if I am going to put something on a car. It better enhance the look.

It's not nice to call a guys car "Ricey" , *****.........

In my defense, they were on the car when I bought it...I think they go nicely with the Body Kit........WW

Your car is an exception. Definitely not ricey.

I agree. I think they look good as long as the rest of the car isn't overdone.

I rarely post, but when I saw that someone was contemplating the heinous act of louvreifying their c4, I had to chime in. Please, for crying out loud, dont' do it.

I took the pic from a seller on Ebay who has the dice in every pic he has listed. I didn't intend to include dice in the same category.

Seriously, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Just my personal preference that I don't care for the louvers. I do agree that modifying/personalizing your car to your preference is cool.

You'll still have to buy some 2 sizes too small girly pants, an oversized ball cap, screw some bolts in your face, get all tattooed up, and learn how to use their arm swinging hand gesturing language that makes them SO COOL if you want to hang with those gangsta wannabees. "jus sayin"
