Default LS into C4 swappers take a look

I am trying to figure out the push clutch conversion on the C4. I am putting a LQ4 iron block truck 6.0 engine into a 93 with a ZF trans. I understand I can use the LS7 flywheel (GM PN 12571611) and the Pressure Plate from the LS7 Clutch Kit (GM PN 24255748). But what is up with the clutch disk? What is the gear looking thing in the middle of disk and what is it for? I have a new disk from a 87 which is also for a 11.5 inch 26 spline sprung center setup. Thanks for your recommendations. Here is a photo to the LS7 clutch kit:

You might be better off asking this in the C6 Z06 section...

What details are you looking for? Not planning on a adapter plate. I have a LQ4 from a Chevy 2500HD pick up that I'm putting into a 93 that has a Black Label ZF. I understand that the LS7 flywheel will work as will the Pressure Plate what I don't know is (look at the picture) if the LS7 disk will work. I have a 1987 4+3 disk that has the same spline count. If you look at the picture it has a funny looking gear thing on it that I have never seen. That is why I asked to LS swappers to look in. Thanks!

Sorry, but I don't know what the gear looking thing is that is shown in the picture.

I was just curious as to how you would be accomplishing this. The only zf6 to LS conversion that I saw in a magazine article that appeared to use the stock bellhousing was one done by Dick Guldstrand. It used a hydraulic throwout bearing. I don't know which flywheel/clutch set up was used. I think you will need a special pilot bearing.
