Dash temp degrees stop working after new clutch instal
So I got my car back from the shop after getting a new clutch. The digital degree indicator is stuck at 142 degrees. The needle still works but I think something got unplugged. I'd rather not take it back to the shop if it is something I can do real quick. can someone point me where to look?

The digital gauge gets its information from the PCM. The CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor) for the PCM is on the front of the engine somewhere.
Since you didn't mention a year, I can't tell you exactly where it is. L98s have a CTS in the front of the intake manifold. LT1s have one in the water pump.

I found the port. The shop put the temp sensor in the air intake and not the water pump. That port was very hard to find because you can't see it due to the support bar. I had to feel for it. Its back in and everything is running good
