I just changed the gas tank on my '85 and when I went to swap over the Brass Tee fitting on the fuel vapor line the tee would not thread into the tank. the new tank I used is a replacement tank with no bladder. I have read that you can put a plug there and just run a line strait from the vapor line to the sending unit. Please help with your input.

I believe that brass T is what used to be called a "vapor separator". I had something like that on my '71 Corvette -- it leaked, so that's how I found out about it. It's supposed to allow the liquid fuel to go back into the tank instead of to the charcoal canister.

I wouldn't think that would be a problem unless the tank is very full and a lot of fuel sloshing is happening.
