cleaned up pics of my 85 resto-mod
Today was a pretty day so I decided to clean the vette up for the spring (until the pollen falls at least). I took some pics of it since I just installed a new set of seats.
specs:
-1985, originally iron head 350 w/ automatic & D36 rear end
-LS6 engine swap, T56 6 speed trans swap, D44 rear end swap
-cam, long tube headers, magnaflow exhaust, K&N air filter
-greenwood body kit
-custom built iForged 19x10.5/11.5 wheels
-lowered stock suspension
-powdercoated C5 front brake upgrade
-completely new/restored interior, Corbeau A4 racing seats with custom made stationary mount brackets (bolt 2" off the floor for more headroom)
-full pioneer stereo system
-relensed glass top, replaced windshield, tinted windows
I still have some stuff I need to do...minor exhaust fitment/leak issues, custom trans crossmember to reduce flex during hard driving, install the new dewitt aluminum radiator and retrofit an engine oil cooler.

That's one sweet ride. Love the wheels and sound system.
You are a mechanic, and what ride you have to have fun with, have fun this summer.

I strongly thought about it when I first got the car. But then I realized that almost every c4 you see on the road is a 92-96 style so I thought it would be cooler to leave it alone yet make it look better than the newer style (in stock form).

That's a great looking car with a very impressive list of upgrades.
Very well done!
