A lot easier with the seats out of the car. You have to push in on the sides of the seat cushion near the bottom as I recall. You'll see hooks there. Easiest to cut a notch in a large screwdriver to hook on them and release
here's a pic of the back with the seat back removed.. Notice the clips on the back that you need to move the wire in to clear to remove the seat back..
