The C4 is easy to get in and out of. I am 71 and not particularly flexible and have no problems. Our 1974 Pantera is a bit more difficult but not too bad. Once I got into a Lotus Elise. It only took me two tries to get in. I also got out with no help. That also took two tries. That car is ridiculous.

Sadly, I think a lot of guys have no sex life so they put those empty energies in to material possessions, like sports cars, boats, weight lifting, etc. I'm guilty myself, but I am lucky enough to live part-tim in Latin American country where cost of living is nothing and beautiful young women ( and very approachable ) are in plentiful.
The problem is a lot of us here are "locked in" so to speak .... Fat complaining wife, kids, mortgage, grand kids, debt. Most guys can't even think of a divorce because the wife will get everything, not to mention the parasite, blood sucking Lawyer will get most of the $.
Today's American Divorce = Financial Suicide ( for men ).

But can a 40 year old get one? Would I have to give them lots of cash.

I have a 92 and am 53. With the seat all the way retracted and the steering wheel in the normal position, I sit my butt in first avoiding putting undue pressure on the steering wheel, then pull both legs in. Then I move the seat into position.
I do the reverse to get out.
*After repairing the steering column knuckle due to slop in the steering, I do not hang on (besides driving the car) or tilt the steering wheel. When I take the car to any shop, I remove the tilt lever from the steering column.

I'm 63. Have an 89 and a 92. Both have sport seats. I use the seat bolsters to get out. Never touch the steering wheel. Occasionally I'll grab the "Nader" pin. My passenger is on their own.

Been reading this whole thread and got a good laugh out of some of the reply's but there's one thing I haven't heard anyone say...
If you can't get in and out without help from somebody, it's time to sell the darn thing.
BTW: I'm 69 and have no problems getting in or out. Love it!

2021 C4 of the Year - Modified Finalist
I fall in and when I get out I just push up with my left hand on the side rail, I got so used to this that wen I sat in a C7 at Carlisle I had a hard time getting out.

I'm 65 and maybe a little bigger than some. I find getting into my baby takes a little finesse; a push and pull and a twist and turn here and there. But, once in place, she was obviously engineered for a close fit to maximize the thrill of driving. And getting out after a thrilling adventure is such sweet sorrow. Getting in and out of my C4 is the same way...

The fatter I get the more I consider carrying Kentucky Jelly and a 2X4 in case I need help getting out. My first C4 was after owning a C3 and at first I did find it tricky. My C3 wasn't in the best shape and teenagers are always broke so I drove my mother's BMW a lot. The C4 was a whole different approach compared to just putting one leg out and standing up but I got used to it. Since owning a C5 I continue to fall into the seat even though I don't need to but it's already a habit. I've all but destroyed the seat rails and side bolster in the C5 because I only know one way to get in and out of a Corvette. All the years of remembering not to grab the wheel was wasted. I picked up another C4 last week and the first time I got out I caught myself pulling on the steering wheel!!! Time to retrain

My wife had some trouble getting out of my 84 so I went to a wrecking yard and bought one of the covered handles {like those on the inside above the doors ] for $ 10.00 . I secured it to the forward part of the door just below the window frame and forward enough most of it is pretty well hidden by the dash. Problem solved
