................ If its an automatic , give the Nitto's away and buy a pair of Mickey Thompson's and leave on the last yellow ........ .......

I would be more concerned if I was one of the guys you went up against with the C5's or C6. 14's@103MPH sucks for them or they don't know how to drive. I was turning those numbers when my C4 was stock.

Thanks guys,
car is stick , the launch with stick is tricky.
I think it's time for a better clutch/flywheel. Since my stock clutch is roasted !!
Maybe next season I get better numbers.

Your MPH is GREAT the guys you raced are the ones with the real problems not you, just get your 60 time down. Most of my races are won with my Auto, 2800 TC and MT Drag Radials. Having a manual and not the right tires can be challenging but you'll get it down. The most important thing is having FUN with it, I've seen guys get so serious with it they don't even crack a smile.

^A little...but he's giving up way more in the 60'. With that trap, he should be ET'ing 12.8ish.

yes, anytime you are over 2.0+ 60', you are really at an uphill battle for low ET's.......I have found that for nearly 1/10 of time knocked off my 60' it seems I lowered my ET's by 2/10's.......that of course is not an exact science and results will vary with HP levels, driving skills, etc..., but yes, that 60' time is CRITICAL for low ET's.......easier said that done with these stick cars........
I have struggled too, especially since I don't go to the track very often, and when I did, I ran street tires with an aluminum FW, and it just seems you are either spinning or bogging of the line, or feathering the clutch to get that happy medium........guys running drag radials or any other type of drag tire do have an advantage on the track......I think the best 60' I ever did was a 1.9 and ran a 12.6, before I had the car dyno tuned......never been back since though...
fun stuff

I'm taking it is a GS with the LT4 and he said it has a cam. I'm in the ET 12.8ish with a LT1 Auto 2800 TC and bolt on's ( headers, Xpipe, Magnaflows, no cats and a 3.73 rear} I would think he should be in the 12.2ish area.
