I've always liked to go off the beaten path, so with that being said, I have always liked the AMX/Javelin platforms. My father had a 68 AMX with a 390 and four speed combo that would run like a scalded dog. Beyond that, I also like the Boss 302 Mustangs. None will replace my 94 six speed coupe, though.

A Mongoose Grand Sport Replica (light and as fast as your wallet will allow)
A C7 Z06
and just to look at (because who can afford to maintain it?) an Enzo.
The daily driver could be a Caddy CTSV wagon.

I had a 79 trans Am 403 Olds, Somkey and the Bandit, I missed that car, it would go as fast as you were willing to go, I never forum out what it would top out out, but it would cruse with little effort 110, and beg you to go faster. Probably the only fast car that I liked better the the 90 vette.
I also like old Cadillacs, I currently have a 79 Coupe 425, and a 90 Brougham with a 350 tbi stock chevy motor. Both run strong for being untampered with, and have a lot nice ride then the vette.

Bandit Trans Am is another; 400, 4-speed.

Always 2 categories for me. Those that I could probably never afford like Ferrari GTO, 64-65 289 Cobra, 65 Shelby Mustang-R, to the maybe right deal possible 65 Stingray FI Coupe, Porsche 914-6, 2015 Corvette Z-06. Many others but these seem to stay at the top over the years. Don't even want to complicate with possible resto-mod cars.

1.c4- already do lol
2.87-90 iroc or 91 z28- Dad had a blue 91 z28 with the 350 loved that car was the family car due to me being only child.
3.Ferrari Testarossa-512TR- Self explanatory this car is the 80s superstar car basically a c4 on crack.
4.Acura NSX- Japans attempt at a sports/exotic car. Really reminds me of a c4-testarossa hybrid but a sports car you could drive everyday with Honda reliability.
5. 1st gen Dodge Viper- These cars are just really raw and badass great aggressive sports car look I really like the new ones too.
6.85-89 Porsche 911 or 911 turbo- Also just an aggressive looking loud mean car and oh it must have a whale tail like they had. Makes it look that much more obnoxious.
Honorable mentions: Countach, diablo roadster, aventador roadster, 911 GT3, 575 Superamerica. Any Sl AMG from 03-present

It's not everyday that one hears a '79 403 Trans Am called a "fast car". Lots of torque though. Faster & quicker than a 1979 Vette too.
I'm guessing that you must have been estimating your speed..........since the speedometer ended at 100, but just keeps moving unto unmarked areas.
Sorry, couldn't pass all that up.

Pretty much anything these days..
06 Harley SB pushing 110 HP and still looks stock....Sleeper
1998 FB
This is gonna get wet this year....1971 16ft. Schuster Tahiti with the original 125 HP Evinrude.
Then the next work in progress is this Taylor 21 Ft Mod VP (1 of 29 ever Built) back in shape.
One big kick is getting to the top of a mountain and then looking out.
The pic below is Bear Lake from the top of a mountain.

The vehicles i lust after besides c4's Buick GNX, Grand Nationals, GMC Typhoons and Scyclones I would take any of those vehicles over a new c7. Must have something to do with when I was born 1981
